Description Sandy Merriman House provides emergency shelter for women who are homeless. We welcome trans women, gender fluid and non-binary people. The sorting volunteer accepts donations, moves them to the storage room, and sorts them into the correct bins or cupboards. Please note that this role does involve lifting and walking donations down a set of stairs. Shifts are on Tuesdays from 3-5 pm.

Training Details Online modules followed by in-person training and support.
Working Conditions Women's shelter donation room.
Minimum Duration 4 - 6 months
Timing Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening
Time Detail We are looking for volunteers who can commit to a regular weekly shift for a minimum of 3 months. The shift is on Tuesdays from 3-5 pm.
