| Description |
We are looking for volunteers to support clients in the computer lounge at Rock Bay Landing. Volunteers will create a welcoming atmosphere where clients can drop in to use the computers. In addition to offering a friendly presence, volunteers will assist clients with basic computer support, such as navigating internet searches, offering advice on completing job applications, providing resume tips, and helping with online job searches or accessing community resources. Volunteers may also guide clients through using email, setting up accounts, and troubleshooting basic computer issues. This role helps reduce social isolation, builds confidence in using technology, and provides a safe space for clients to relax and connect. |
